Summary: RupeeGate is an access management platform. We do not process payments, hold funds, or have access to any financial transaction between creators and their audience. We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.
1. About RupeeGate
RupeeGate ("we", "us", "our") operates an access management platform at rupeegate.in. Our service enables creators to manage paid access to their private digital communities, content, or events โ including but not limited to private channels, groups, online courses, live sessions, digital content libraries, and exclusive events.
We are a technology platform only. We are not a payment processor, financial intermediary, or regulated financial entity. All payments between creators and their audience are made directly using payment methods of their choice โ we do not participate in, process, or have visibility into these transactions.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 From Creators
- Account identifier โ a unique ID assigned to your account on our platform
- Display name โ the name you provide for your creator profile
- Payment destination โ a UPI ID or payment link you provide, stored solely for display to your audience during their payment process. We do not read, validate, or process transactions made to this destination.
- Community identifiers โ identifiers for the communities or content you connect to our platform
- Plan configuration โ pricing, duration, and access details you set up
2.2 From Audience Members
- Account identifier โ a unique ID assigned to your account
- Display name โ your name as provided during setup
- Payment submission โ self-reported payment confirmation submitted by you after completing a payment. We do not have access to your bank account, PIN, or transaction details from your financial institution.

- Standard server logs (anonymised IP, request timestamp) โ retained for 30 days for security purposes
We do not collect: Bank account numbers, payment card details, PIN or OTP, Aadhaar, PAN, or any government-issued identification from users of the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and provide the RupeeGate access management service
- To display creator payment destinations to audience members so they can make direct payments
- To manage access grants โ generating and sending access links upon creator approval
- To manage access expiry โ automatically revoking access when a subscription period ends
- To send notifications about payment submissions and access decisions
- To enforce subscription plan limits
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and circumvention of platform limits
- To maintain service security and troubleshoot technical issues
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties under any circumstances.
4. Payments โ Our Role and Limitations
RupeeGate does not process, hold, transfer, or intermediary any payments. Our role is limited to access management โ we manage who gets in, not who pays what.
When an audience member pays a creator:
- The payment is made directly using the audience member's preferred payment method
- Funds move directly to the creator's designated payment destination
- RupeeGate has no access to these funds at any point
- The audience member self-reports the payment to RupeeGate
- The creator reviews and approves or rejects the payment claim
- Upon approval, RupeeGate grants access to the creator's community or content
For disputes regarding payments, contact your bank or payment service provider directly. RupeeGate cannot intervene in or resolve payment disputes.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on servers located in India
- Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.2 or higher encryption
- Database access is restricted to authorised personnel only
- We do not store any financial credentials or sensitive payment information
- Account identifiers are retained permanently in our fraud prevention database even after account deletion, to prevent platform abuse
6. Data Sharing
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Between creators and their audience: A creator's display name and payment destination are shown to their audience members during the payment process
- Infrastructure services: We use hosting and email services that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements. These providers do not use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements: If required by a court order or applicable law in India, we may disclose information to authorities. We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data.
