Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: RupeeGate is a software subscription platform. We do not process or hold payments between creators and their audience โ€” those transactions are outside our scope. This policy covers only RupeeGate platform subscription fees paid by creators.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to RupeeGate platform subscription fees โ€” the amounts paid by creators to use the RupeeGate software (Free, Pro, and Elite plans).

Important: RupeeGate does not process, hold, or intermediary any payments between creators and their audience. We have no ability to issue refunds for those transactions. For buyer-to-creator payment disputes, see Section 6.

2. Cancellation โ€” Platform Subscription

2.1 How to Cancel

Creators may cancel their RupeeGate subscription at any time by emailing support@rupeegate.in with your registered email address. Cancellation requests are processed within 24 hours.

3. Refund Eligibility โ€” Subscription Fees

Scenario Refund Details
Cancellation mid-billing period (monthly) No Refund Monthly fees are non-refundable once the billing period starts. Access continues until period end.
Annual plan โ€” cancelled within 7 days, zero usage Full Refund Annual subscriptions cancelled within 7 days of first purchase with no platform usage qualify for a full refund.
Platform downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours Pro-rated Credit Unplanned downtime over 72 hours entitles affected subscribers to a pro-rated account credit for the affected period.
Account terminated by RupeeGate due to our error Pro-rated Refund If we terminate your account due to our error, you receive a pro-rated refund for the unused subscription period.
Account terminated for Terms of Service violation No Refund Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service are not eligible for any refund.
Duplicate charge or billing error Full Refund If charged twice for the same period due to a system error, the duplicate amount is fully refunded within 5โ€“7 business days.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an eligible scenario:

5. Free Plan

The Free plan carries no subscription fee and therefore no refund applies. Free plan users may upgrade, downgrade, or close their account at any time with no financial obligation to RupeeGate.

6. Buyer-to-Creator Payment Disputes

RupeeGate cannot process refunds for payments made between buyers and creators. These are direct transactions โ€” we do not hold, receive, or touch these funds at any point.

All payments between buyers and creators are independent transactions made via the buyer's chosen payment method. RupeeGate is not a party to these transactions and has no authority to reverse or refund them.

If you are a buyer with a payment dispute:

RupeeGate will cooperate with law enforcement and provide available platform records in cases of verified fraud upon receipt of a formal legal request.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email or platform notification at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
